Acsense Identity Resilience

Identity systems hold the keys to everything else. Continuous backup, point-in-time recovery, drift detection — the platform behind our identity-resilience practice.

Traditional disaster recovery assumes the infrastructure underneath is intact. Identity platforms are the infrastructure. When an Okta tenant gets misconfigured, breached, or quietly corrupted, the native audit and rollback options are usually thin. Identity resilience closes that gap with snapshot-based backup, point-in-time recovery, and continuous drift detection — designed and operated alongside the rest of your identity architecture.

Capabilities

What Identity Resilience Covers

Six controls that turn identity from a single point of failure into a recoverable system.

Tenant Backup & Snapshots

Continuous, application-aware backup of your identity tenant — users, groups, policies, apps, lifecycle rules, and audit history. Snapshots run in the background; restore is a question of choosing a point in time, not rebuilding from scratch.

Point-in-Time Recovery

Recover a tenant — or a specific subset (a group, a policy, a single user) — to any captured snapshot. Mistakes, malicious changes, and silent corruption all become reversible without touching the upstream provider's support queue.

Configuration Drift Detection

Continuous monitoring of identity configuration against a known-good baseline. Drift events — policy weakening, MFA bypasses introduced, admin role changes — surface in near real time, not when an auditor or attacker finds them first.

Identity DR & Tabletop

Identity disaster-recovery plans designed and rehearsed: what fails, what recovers first, what depends on what, and who decides. We run tabletop exercises with your team so the plan is muscle memory before it is ever needed.

Forensic Audit & Compliance

Immutable audit trail covering identity changes that the native platform may not retain long enough or cleanly enough for forensics. Useful for incident investigation, regulator queries, and demonstrating control coverage under DORA, NIS2, and SOX.

Continuous Posture Repair

Configuration drift isn't only detected — it can be reverted automatically or with approval. Combined with our identity-architecture standards, this turns posture from an annual project into a continuous control.

Use Cases

Where It Pays Off Fast

High-impact scenarios where identity resilience replaces a heroic recovery effort with a planned one.

Post-Incident Recovery

After a credential-compromise or admin-account abuse event, roll the tenant back to a clean snapshot, then forward-port the legitimate changes. Hours, not weeks.

Audit & Regulator Readiness

Demonstrate control coverage with a tamper-evident audit history that survives outside the platform itself. DORA, NIS2, SOX, and ISO 27001 reviewers stop asking 'can you prove that?'.

Drift Cleanup for Mature Tenants

Tenants that have accumulated years of configuration debt get a baseline, a drift report, and a remediation path. Cleanup becomes a measurable programme instead of a fear-based avoid.

M&A & Carve-Out Continuity

During mergers, divestitures, or major migrations, snapshot the source tenant, plan the cut-over, and keep a fall-back position. Day-1 access is guaranteed; the migration becomes reversible.

Approach

How We Engage

Identity resilience is a design decision, not a tool purchase. We start by mapping the recovery surface for your environment — which configuration items matter, which dependencies cascade, which scenarios are credible — and align the platform to that picture rather than the other way round.

From there we deploy snapshot backup, baseline the tenant, define drift policies, and run a tabletop. The output is a working recovery posture, a measurable drift baseline, and an operating model your team can run without us in the room.

We own the design end-to-end and stay through the first live exercise. Identity resilience that has never been tested is not resilience.

Platform

Acsense

ATLAS Apex partners with Acsense to deliver identity-resilience engagements. Acsense is the identity resilience platform: continuous tenant backup, point-in-time recovery, configuration drift detection, and forensic-grade audit history for Okta and other identity platforms. We design the resilience architecture, deploy it alongside your identity stack, and operate it as part of our identity control-plane practice.
